SKINCARE Obsession STURM

At the grand age of 14 is when my obsession with skincare began.. The creams,serums, masks and holographic eye gels, i was mesmerised! I walked into a department store and with my entire year of savings, walked out with all of the above. The lady at the Estee Lauder counter was baffled to see such a young girl so knowledgeable and naive at the same time. I recall asking her a question which I thought was very important. "WILL I SEE RESULTS AFTER USING THESE PRODUCTS?" She looked at me with an empty glaze and replied, "You're 14, you can't improve on that!"

Despite that she still sold me everything, and I walked out feeling very proud that my $300 investment will turn me into a supermodel and change my life!

Looking back now, it was the best investment I could have ever made. This purchase set me up on a life long journey of looking after my skin religiously. Throughout the decades, I was always searching for that holy grail of product and less than one year ago I found it!

Dr Barbara Sturm has a skincare line like no other. The STURM products are pure, not tested on animals and most importantly THEY WORK! So fabulous is her line that I wanted to share with you what I use and how my skin has changed for the better since using them.

Skincare begins from the inside, and without a doubt my morning routine starts with taking the STURM supplements which heal and repair the skin. The Repair Food and the Skin Food are essential to my beauty regime and is concentrated full of natural goodness which not only repairs the skin but is also beneficial to the entire body. By taking these alone, I noticed my skin smoother, even and glowing with a boost of energy I have not had before.

In the morning after a quick cleanse, I use an enzyme exfoliator to buff away any dullness and follow up with the Hyaluronic Serum. A few drops of this clear liquid gets absorbed into my skin and this helps lock and bind moisture so needed the entire day.

Then my favourite, the Calming Serum is next. It absorbs so quickly and evens out my skin while calming it from any redness and unevenness,

The final step is her Rich Cream which I am obsessed with. A little goes a long way and after a few minutes I can apply makeup if I wish as my skin has completely absorbed it. Hydrated, glowing and youthful are the results.

The entire day my skin feels super hydrated and happy until I remove it at night and do this all again. (Just a note, exfoliator i use 2x a week only).

As a treat I adore her Clarifying Facial Mask, which hydrates and cleanses at the same time with natural clay. I try to leave in on for 20 minutes and then rub it of with my fingers to reveal baby soft skin. With a damp wash cloth I wipe off any leftover mask and continue with adding my serums and moisture. ( The mask I use 3x a week).

I have always had good skin but the STURM skincare has transformed my skin for the better.

Now on my dream WISH LIST is her ADVENT CALENDAR, which contains 24 products spanning her entire skincare range with decent travel sized bottles and pots of magic! Yes it is pricey but so worth the results. Your skin will look, feel and become youthful again. She has created the Benjamin Button effect and I am not aging but reversing the course of time with her innovative and simple use of ingredients mother nature provided.

Now if only Santa would read this blog, he would know what I want for Christmas!
