Tropical balmy island nights, is what i love about being secluded in paradise.
The evenings are always special as the days are lazy and sunsets dinners are the time to put on that little dress and be grateful for the beautiful day you had.
If you do visit Rarotonga in the Cook islands, one of my favourite spots for dinner is the Pacific Resort.
Dinner is served on the beach, feet in the sand and NO SHOES required.
The most delicious variety of local seafood is prepared and served with sides of coconuts or banana`s or anything exotic you can conjure up.
We watched the skies turn an array of pretty colours while listening to the most romantic island musicians lightly strumming the ukulele. I felt as though I was in an Elvis movie from the past and admit that a few tears rolled down my cheeks. Happy tears ofcourse!
Just so humbled and grateful to be experiencing an evening so special that i knew this magical moment was etched in my mind and heart forever..
A huge thank you to Rudy who sang his romantic heart out on the beach. His Polynesian version of "Somewhere Over The Rainbow" made this night extra special!
Thanks for the tears you beautiful soul!
