Mother Nature is incredible!
What a sight to experience on a mini day excursion one hour drive from Merida Mexico.
Originally when we set out to see this apparent Pink Lake, I was a little sceptical. Never could I imagine that this lake would be so intense pink and as an added surprise-pink flamingoes decided to join the party aswell.
Definitely not a place to swim as it is full of salt and minerals which gives this lake it`s colour.
If you are thinking of visiting the Yucatan area, this is a MUST see.
