BUNDABERG

Driving up the Australian coastline from Byron Bay to Bundaberg is a 5 hour trip which consists of passing through rugged bushland, kangaroo and koala crossings and an insane amount of sugarcane fields.

No surprises then that the town of Bundaberg is well knows for its famous Rum distillery and authentic vintage buildings which line the main street of the town. Humidity and heat all add to the benefits of growing sugar cane and boy was it hot here!

A 70`s inspired, relaxed pair of jeans and I was ready for the difficult part of my afternoon- the RUM TASTING!

After deliberating on which rum to take home with me- I decided to try and take the largest bottle. The one at the entrance. Seriously no need to be greedy! One bottle would have been enough..(if only I could have put this inside the car)..
