One of mother natures gifts to Byron Bay has to be Watagos Beach. To me, this beach resembles something pre-historic- almost Jurassic Park like!
The beach has a scattering of pebbles and boulders, palms and tress which are very unique to this area. That bohemian vibe is very distinctive here and the odd 1970`s W Wagon selling coffee and tea adds charm to the beach.
If you get the chance to come here and you are looking for that picture perfect accommodation, Raes on Watagos is the way to go. Private rooms which are almost apartment like. Totally privacy literally on the beach with the most delicious gourmet restaurant around.
A definite must!
