The South of France has so many beautiful, charming towns scattered around the sea and deep into the lush greenery. The more well known villages are mostly seen on the coastline of the Riviera, however there are also many which are inland and are an oasis of old-town cuteness.

One of my favourites to visit when I am here is Saint-Paul-De-Vence. Since I have known it, it has always been an artists paradise, gravitating the more creative crowd of painters, sculptures and designers.

This charing village is full of meandering streets and alleyways, filled with treasures for the eye and they are not all selling brand new creations. Here if your wallet allows, you could buy that missing Mattise, Picasso or even Chagall to add to your collection.

Cobblestoned streets lead up and around the village to reveal churches, fountains and of course more sunshine. After you are done, how about a seat people watching in a cafe outside and immerse yourself in the thought that at this very spot which you are sitting, famous artists once also sat getting inspiration for their next masterpiece.
