Arrived to one of my favourite parts of Italy- The AMALFI COAST.
Not only do I adore it here for its mesmerising beauty, warm endless sunshine and rusticness but THE best food by far is found here! I are talking organic olives, tomatoes, lemon and orange groves- DIVINE!!! With Vesuvius in the backdrop reminding me of a possible natural disaster once again- I bravely returned to this amazing part of the world.
If you only have time to visit but one town in the Amalfi, a definite must is picturesque Positano. With meandering hair-pin turns and the narrowest roads thinkable to get you there, It is nothing but breathtaking!
The twinkling Mediterranean sea below reflect the light up to the colourful town clinging to the cliffs with glistening rooftops and coloured walls. A no car zone, you can leave your car in the few parking stations and walk the rest of the way. Alternatively, you can also explore by catching a ferry over from Naples.
On my walk down into the heart of Positano and I can not help but stop at every corner to drink in her beauty. The town is full of restaurant, cafes, shops to buy handmade clothing, swimwear, summer cover-ups and handmade ceramics.
And if you are up for it, a little ice-cold limoncello will warm you up to lemon heaven immediately.
My favourite place on this amazing planet is right here- POSITANO!
