VATICAN City

Continuing my road-trip through Italy and next stop is the Vatican City.

This is the first blog of 4 while in Rome as there is so much to share with you.

Vatican city is a very inspiring place to visit. It is the birthplace of Christianity and you can see aspects of this all over. I have never seen so many young priest walking the old city here and soaking in the sights The size of the cathedral here is huge making me feel as if I am a dwarf walking along the enormous marble white columns encircling it.

Interesting is that they have their very own post-office which is inside the golden circle housed in a very moderate portable container.

Fountains, statues and the famous Sistine Chapel are all seen here and the hot sun made this unique city even more majestic. A definite must visit if you are passing through Rome.
