Under the TUSCAN sun

Arriving into Tuscany is pure therapy. The wide open green spaces, gardens, visions of Cypress trees, olive and lemon orchard is so freeing visually. My hotel il Melone, which dates back 200 years is a gorgeous bed and breakfast which offers beautiful grounds, an enormous swimming pool and a rustic restaurant to fill you up on all the delicious organic produce of the region. The sun was not only energising to me but the entire surroundings of Tuscany.
Old villages perched on-top of hills and mountains have all kept their uniqueness over the hundreds of years and entice you to explore with their beauty. Most a no car zone, you are invited to walk through them and discover their history. The scent of lemons in the orchard is like stepping into a perfume distillery and gets you hooked on the wide open spaces upon which they grow.
Nemo loved his time here. Being able to run around without restrictions and taking in new experiences made this stop that much sweeter.
What to wear in countryside Tuscany? A rustic cotton dress which to me resembles grandmothers table cloth and a very chic bag designed by Mcfadin to carry my necessities. Because no matter what part of the world I am in- being in the countryside always makes me want to be a little bit more cowgirl.
