Desert Palm LA QUINTA

Drive about 30 minutes out from the heart of Palm Springs and arrive to a pretty desert town of La Quinta. Full of rustic charm, the architecture here reflects more the Hispanic than anything else. Terracotta roofs in half moon shapes cover most buildings here. Richly tiled floors and stairways reflect the radiating heat cast down on it from the unforgiving desert sun.
Palm tree`s line the mini promenade where very welcomed shade is cast. A few little shops, cafes and restaurants allow you to cool of in air-conditioned bliss while the town blisters under the hot sun.
Although very small, worth a visit if you are looking for a little old charm in the middle of the desert.
I become another solar panel in the desert by pairing my nude tank with sparkly shorts. :)
