The accidental TOURIST

As much as I don't like to admit it, i am not comfortable being in a place where there are bus loads of tourists. That being said, there are many occasions I myself am a tourist and need to read that travel guide to know my whereabouts. These are the times when trying to blend in to look like a local just never happens.

How fortunate for me that the Portuguese are so friendly and accepting of people like myself exploring their cities.

My city trip to Lisbon was such a great experience. My obsession of coloured doors, walls and tiled buildings was fulfilled to the maximum here. The added sunshine was very much appreciated too. Loved every step of this beautiful, rustic city.
